This was the last Japanese Rose that survived after it was declared dead. From my previous post about the Japanese Rose that Nat brought back from Hort Park (you can read more about that here), that Japanese Rose also died but that was a sweet death because I think there was a limit to its life span if I didn't continue to propagate it.
Motivated by Nat's excitement over the flowers, I got more saplings from a friend and planted a new Japanese Rose. It was a different breed and it had red flowers. I thought that it too had died a timely death because I didn't trim it. But when I started to remove it from the pot, there was a nest of weird looking ants inside the pot. Sad. It was probably killed by the insects. Well, it was a good run.
Now, to the Money Plant that my brother gave me, which I think is the hardiest plant requiring brainless botany skills - I assume?
